Job summary

KONE Doors Business (KDB) seeks an experienced legal advisor for its France operations. You will oversee legal affairs, draft and negotiate contracts, and coordinate with the Global Legal team on international matters, including M&A due diligence and compliance programs.

Strong in-house or law-firm background required; fluent in French and English. You will work in a technical, industrial environment, align legal strategies with business needs, and guide governance for French entities while

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree in Law with at least five years of professional experience in business law, in-house or via a law firm.
You have strong expertise in contract and commercial law, corporate law, construction law, public procurement and dispute management.
Experience in compliance matters, anti-corruption and competition law, GDPR/data protection and M&A transactions is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Act as trusted legal business partner for KDB France management and operations to secure activities and protect the company’s interests.
Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and provide guidance on tenders.
Manage pre-litigation matters, disputes, claims and liability issues with external counsel as needed.
Ensure compliance with ethics, competition law, data protection and anti-corruption requirements.
Oversee corporate law and governance for KDB’s French entities and support strategic projects including M&A and due diligence.
Develop and maintain legal standards, templates, T&Cs, and internal policies; deliver awareness training.
