Casambi in Espoo, Finland seeks an experienced Firmware Developer to join our engineering team and advance the next generation of Casambi-enabled products.
You will design and maintain embedded firmware for wireless devices based on Nordic platforms, focusing on BLE, mesh networking, and secure OTA updates, while collaborating with hardware, mobile, cloud, and product teams.
We are looking for an experienced Firmware Developer to join our engineering team and help develop the next generation of Casambi-enabled products.
Your primary focus will be embedded software development for wireless devices built on Nordic Semiconductor platforms. You will work with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), mesh networking, device communication protocols, and system-level firmware that powers reliable, secure, and scalable lighting control solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to hardware while also understanding complete system architectures, from embedded devices to mobile applications, gateways, and cloud services. We're looking for an engineer who is curious, continuously learns new technologies, and actively uses AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency and software quality.
You’ll work on products that combine embedded systems, wireless communication, cloud connectivity, mobile applications, and real-world customer deployments. This role offers the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems while developing technology used in hundredths of thousands of installations worldwide.
We value engineers who care not only about writing firmware, but also about delivering successful products that solve real customer problems and continue to provide value long after their initial release.
We are looking for product builders, not just firmware developers. Candidates with experience bringing connected products from idea to customer deployment are particularly encouraged to apply.
