The Finnish site is growing and we are looking for a (Senior) Embedded Software Engineer to join the Software Development team and begin specializing as a Secure Enclave Engineer in our hardware security domain.

The position is located in Oulu, Finland.

Responsibilities

Specializing as a Secure Enclave Engineer, you will work at the closest level to the hardware — where deep silicon understanding is essential. The role centers on low-level embedded firmware, ROM code, and chip lifecycle management, with direct involvement in hardware design and implementation. You will design low-power security subsystems that need to stay on around the clock, work with cryptographic implementations, and contribute to verifying the security of the software stack. If you are an embedded developer at heart — comfortable with minimal abstraction and where hardware and software meet — this is the role for you to grow into.

Willingness to grow into a team leadership role is also welcomed.

This is a permanent, full-time position for an engineer capable of independent planning, organizing, and executing their own work. The role does not require prior experience in a leadership or managerial position but does require a strong sense of ownership and accountability. You will be expected to document your work clearly and report on activities, progress, and results in a structured and consistent manner.
