Job summary

Unikie Oy seeks a Senior C++ Linux Engineer – Wireless Connectivity to join an international automotive customer project in Tampere. You will focus on application-level software on Linux, including Wi‑Fi and cellular connectivity, multithreaded architecture, and robust inter-thread communication.

You will design, implement, and troubleshoot connectivity features, work with cross-functional teams, and own technical decisions while communicating progress and risks clearly.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with modern C++ and Linux.
• Experience developing application-level or middleware software.
• Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency.
• Experience with synchronization, message passing, IPC, shared state, or event‑driven architecture.
• Linux networking experience (TCP/IP, sockets, network services).
• Experience with Wi‑Fi, cellular, modem, or other wireless‑connectivity software.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior C++ Linux Engineer – Wireless Connectivity to join our Unikie team. In this role, you will work in an international automotive customer project developing and troubleshooting wireless connectivity features. You will focus on application-level software running on Linux, including Wi‑Fi and cellular connectivity, multithreaded architecture, networking, and communication between software components. You will join a small and experienced remote team where independent working, technical ownership, and proactive communication are essential.
