Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled annual maintenance on security systems.
• Carry out fault repairs and various modification works.
• Carry out installation work following supervisor instructions.
• Report completed work to the maintenance supervisor.
• On-site work both independently and as part of a team.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled system installer or specialist for Avarn Security's security technology business unit, primarily serving the Oulu and Northern Finland area. The role is full-time and permanent. You will work on maintenance, installation and fault-fixing tasks within security technology. You will report to the maintenance supervisor.

Key responsibilities include performing scheduled annual maintenance, fault repairs, various modification and improvement works to security systems, installation work according supervisor instructions, and reporting completed work.

Requirements include a clean background and eligibility for a security guard card. You should be able to work well in a team but also be able to work independently on site. You must have customer service skills and the ability to communicate solutions to customers. You should have knowledge of fault-finding and be able to handle the challenges related to maintenance work.

You should have at least 1 year of experience in installation, maintenance or commissioning of CCTV, access control or intrusion protection systems. A security clearance is required for applicants selected for the role. Suitable education could be electrical, electronics or ICT-related; security training is an asset. Finnish and English language skills (spoken and written) are required, Swedish is an advantage. Proficiency with common MS Office tools and knowledge of measurement devices and IT networks is expected. A B-class driving license is required.
