Job summary

AFRY Hydro Nordics in Finland is seeking a senior leader to drive the future development of our hydropower business in Finland. You will lead the Finnish operation, build customer relationships, and shape growth strategies while ensuring project delivery quality and profitability.

You will manage a Finnish management team and collaborate with Nordic leadership, with travel within Finland and the Nordic region.

Qualifications

Experience in a leadership role or managing large-scale projects in the energy sector.
Experience with profit and loss responsibility and solid business operations understanding.
Understanding of the energy and/or hydropower industry in Finland.
Post-secondary technical education.
Strong communication skills in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

Build and strengthen customer relationships for Hydro in Finland.
Drive growth by developing and implementing strategies and plans.
Monitor project deliveries, ensure quality, and negotiate contracts.
Lead the Finnish management team and coordinate with Nordic leadership.
Oversee resource planning and recruitment; travel monthly within Finland and the Nordic region.
