Job summary

Ayvens is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead financial planning, governance and strategic partnership with the Managing Director and Senior Management Team in Finland. You will drive profitability, growth and fact-based decision making while building scalable financial processes.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow and compliance, collaborating with regional and global finance stakeholders to implement group decisions locally.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• Significant senior-level experience in financial leadership delivering business results.
• Strong commercial understanding linking financial performance with business priorities.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, IFRS, internal controls and risk management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and cash flow management.
• Experience in developing financial processes and working with shared services.
• Experience in transformation initiatives, project management or M&A is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic and operational finance partner to the Managing Director and Senior Management Team.
• Lead financial planning, performance management, funding, internal control and risk management.
• Develop Finance and Business Controlling functions with scalable processes.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cash flow projections.
• Monitor performance against budget and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable and balance sheet management.
• Promote governance, internal controls and risk management across the organisation.
• Lead and develop CFO-area personnel and foster a high-performing team.
• Support business development, transformation programs and potential M&A initiatives.
