Job summary

Ayvens is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead financial planning, governance and performance management in Finland. You will partner with the Managing Director and the Senior Management Team to drive profitability, growth and data-driven decision-making.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and liquidity, while developing finance processes and collaborating with regional/global stakeholders. Fluent English and Finnish are required.

Qualifications

• A relevant university degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• Significant senior-level experience in financial leadership with a strong track record.
• Strong commercial understanding and ability to connect financial performance with priorities.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, IFRS, internal controls and risk management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cash flow management.
• Experience in developing financial processes and working with shared services.
• Experience in transformation initiatives, project management or M&A is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial systems.
• Fluent English and Finnish.
• Understanding of Scandinavian languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute actively to company strategy and support leadership in strategic financial matters.
• Provide financial insight to support profitability, growth and business development.
• Translate financial performance into actionable recommendations.
• Work with regional and global finance stakeholders and implement group decisions locally.
• Lead annual budgeting and oversee forecasting, reporting and cash flow projections.
• Monitor performance against budget and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide clear, decision-relevant financial analysis to management.
• Oversee financial reporting, revenue/expense, balance sheet, AP/AR.
• Monitor banking activities, funding and liquidity.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits.
• Lead and develop employees within the CFO area.
• Support transformation initiatives and potential M&A.
