Job summary

CapsLock, a Helsinki-based digital marketing services provider, seeks a Finance Director to oversee all financial activities, reporting, and strategic guidance for a fast-growing business. You will lead FP&A, accounting, tax, and compliance, while partnering with the executive team to drive profitable growth and scalable processes.

You have 10+ years in finance, a leadership track record, and fluency in English; remote collaboration with a global team is essential. Report to CFO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with IFRS/GAAP and month-end/year-end processes.
• Proven track record in FP&A and financial management in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication with executive management and external stakeholders.
• Fluent English; able to collaborate with a remote, global team.
• Experience with tax planning and compliance for a group.

Responsibilities

• Lead bookkeeping, FP&A, and taxation/compliance teams.
• Oversee accounting and policy implementation.
• Manage budgeting process and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely financial and investment reporting for the group.
• Develop internal controls and lead internal audits.
• Oversee tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Navigate financial aspects of M&A transactions and due diligence.
• Improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
• Communicate financial insights to the executive team.
• Manage relationships with banks and external consultants
