Job summary

Premix Oy, a growing international plastics company, seeks a Finance Business Partner to drive profitability and insight-driven decisions. You will report to the CFO and collaborate across functions to strengthen forecasting, reporting, and financial planning.

With 5+ years in finance, you’ll own BI reporting, partner with business units, and contribute to strategic growth while working in a hybrid setup at Premix HQ in Rajamäki, Finland.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance/business partnering, controlling, FP&A or audit.
• Experience with closing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting in international/multi-entity environments.
• Solid knowledge of Finnish statutory accounting (FAS); taxation knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in Finnish and English; strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly and annual closing with external partner, covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, net working capital.
• Act as trusted finance partner for business stakeholders, enabling KPI achievement and cost management.
• Lead rolling forecasting and budgeting, align with group strategy and priorities.
• Own Power BI and NetSuite reporting, drive data quality and analytics for insights.
• Support investment evaluations and business cases for data-driven growth decisions.

We are strengthening "Know your numbers" culture, developing Power BI and NetSuite reporting, and moving toward more forward-looking forecasting and scenario-based business steering. To support this journey, we are looking for an experienced, curious and business-minded Finance Business Partner who enjoys working close to the business and translating numbers into clear, value-creating actions. In this pivotal role within the CFO Office, you will report directly to the CFO and collaborate closely with leaders across all functions.

What you will do:

Financial controlling and reporting

• Coordinate monthly and annual closing processes with external partner, covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, net working capital
• Coordinate tax, statutory reporting and audits preparation

Business partnering

• Act as a trusted finance partner for business stakeholders, helping teams understand & improve performance, achieve KPIs and manage costs proactively
• Deliver clear, robust financial analyses that support strategic and operational decisions across sales, production / unit costs, margins and profitability
• Turn variances and performance trends into insightful, actionable reporting for management and Board-level decision-making
• Support investment evaluations and business cases that enable sound, data-driven growth decisions

Planning and forecasting

• Lead rolling forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring strong alignment with group strategy and business priorities
• Develop scenario modelling together with the business to strengthen forward-looking decision-making
• Own cash flow forecasting and help improve visibility into working capital needs

BI and data ownership

• Own and continuously improve Power BI and NetSuite reporting together with our external partner
• Act as a Power BI super user and champion better data quality, automation and analytics to deliver accurate, timely business insights

What we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance/business partnering, business controlling, financial controlling, FP&A or audit
• Experience in closing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, preferably in an international or multi-entity environment
• Solid knowledge of Finnish statutory accounting (FAS), taxation knowledge is a plus
• Good Power BI skills as user, ability to build reports and understanding data flows
• Experience with NetSuite and AI-enabled analytics is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in both Finnish and English
