Job summary

Graphic Packaging International on Kotka, Finland, seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to lead timely financial reporting and budgeting processes. This role supports manufacturing operations and back-office finance activities, ensuring robust controls and accurate forecasting.

Fluent Finnish and English are required, with strong Excel skills and ERP experience. You will partner with sales and production, manage tight deadlines, and help drive continuous improvement across finance functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Fluency in Finnish and English is required.
• Strong finance background, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting in a timely manner including: Monthly Management and statutory audited accounts; Monthly P&L’s comparison to budgets; Monthly balance sheets and Monthly cash analysis; Review Balance sheet reconciliations held on “Blackline”.
• Oversee cost effective financial back office activities (payables, receivables, credit control, banking)
• Prepare accurate and timely annual financial plans/budgets and monthly outlooks/forecasts including cash forecasting.
• Act as a finance business partner to local stakeholders across operations
• Support sales and production controlling, including pricing analysis and decision support
