Job summary

Oddlygood Group in Helsinki is seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to support accounts payable and receivable, data analysis, and month-end close in a fast‑paced, international growth company.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues, gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of finance activities, and develop your skills in a dynamic, purpose‑driven team. Fluent English and Finnish are required, and a can‑do attitude helps you thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in business, accounting, finance or related field.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Finance Assistant who is eager to take the first steps in their finance career and gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of finance activities. In this role, you will be an important part of our day‑to‑day Finance function, supporting areas such as accounts payable and receivable, financial data and analysis, and month‑end closing. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across the finance team, building a strong understanding of our processes and business while developing your skills in a fast‑paced, international growth company.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

1. Accounts Payable and Receivable – supporting the teams with the processing invoices and payments.

2. Financial Data and Analysis – maintaining accurate financial records, supporting data processing, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.

3. Closing – assisting with closing activities and reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Experience Level: We are searching for a candidate with huge initiative, a can‑do attitude and a strong desire to learn.

• Bachelor's degree (completed or working towards) in business, accounting, finance or related field.

• Strong commercial and numerical acumen.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (specifically excel).

• Flexible, well organized, attention to detail, goal oriented

• Comfortable in fast paced rhythm and able to adapt quickly in changing situations

• Self-driven, able to take initiative, prioritize and organize own work

• Can-do-attitude and ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication and language skills: fluent in written and spoken English and Finnish
