Job summary

Ruukki Construction seeks an Area IT Manager to lead local IT development in Finland and oversee regional IT operations across Central Eastern Europe. You will shape the IT roadmap, manage the Finland team, and ensure alignment with SSAB IT policies.

Fluent Finnish and English are required; you will collaborate with business stakeholders, manage budgets, vendors, and infrastructure while fostering sustainable, safe, and reliable IT services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Experience shaping IT strategy, roadmaps, and execution.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area Europe IT roadmap development and resource planning.
• Oversee day-to-day IT support and development aligned with IT policies.
• Manage IT costs, budgeting, and development proposals.
• Oversee contracts, vendor management, and invoicing.
• Collaborate with SSAB common IT on infra and app development.
• Define collaboration models with European business stakeholders.
• Serve as a contact for infra topics within Ruukki Construction IT.
• Line manage the Finland IT team and lead regional IT managers.
