Job summary

Bittium seeks a Software Engineering Productivity Lead to define and raise engineering standards across 300 developers, spanning firmware to web frontends. You will shape workflow, code reviews, and release quality while staying hands-on with pipelines and tooling.

You will lead the creation of an engineering handbook and help measure engineering health, collaborating with R&D leadership and product teams across Finland.

Qualifications

• Software engineering background strong enough to hold your own with senior engineers.
• Track record of changing how teams work, e.g., Git workflows and modern tooling.
• Prototype, build and fix things yourself while leading change across org.

Responsibilities

• Define modern software engineering standards for the group.
• Set group-wide engineering workflow: VCS, branching, code review, CI/CD.
• Decide the release quality bar with tests and docs.
