Job summary

Qt Group, a leader in software and embedded development tools, seeks an experienced Product Lead to steer our developer tooling strategy in Espoo or Oulu, Finland. You will align with stakeholders and drive faster development cycles in an AI-first environment, shaping impactful developer experiences.

The role focuses on cross-functional leadership, ROI/KPI driven decisions, and collaboration across PM, R&D, IT, Marketing and Sales to ensure tooling success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical product management in software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and steer the Developer Tooling strategy.
  • Enhance developer experience for new and existing products.
  • Assess tooling against customer expectations in a rapidly changing market.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management and define ROI/KPI.
  • Research and implement insights to maximize value for users.

About The Role

We are looking for an experience Product Lead to execute and expand on our developer tooling strategy. The focus resides on creating an excellent Developer Experience, leading to faster development cycles and turn-arounds in an AI-first environment. Furthermore, alignment with internal and external stakeholders will drive our business cases to success.


The location for this role is Espoo or Oulu in Finland.

What You Will Do


  • Execute and steer the Developer Tooling strategy.

  • Enhance the existing developer experience for new and existing products.

  • Constantly assess our tooling products against customer expectations in a rapidly changing market.

  • Collaborate with our portfolio management and streamline our offering based on focused ROI and KPI definition.

  • Research and implement insights strategy to maximize value for our users.

  • Manage internal stakeholders including PM, R&D, IT, Marketing and Sales to ensure the success of the tooling strategy.

  • Organized: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to work effectively and manage stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Articulate: Able to simplify technical concepts clearly for non-technical stakeholders and decision-makers, both internal and external.


What You Bring To The Table


  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management or similar roles in the software industry

  • Strong knowledge of software development processes and environments, IDEs, and tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (proficient/native-level English)

  • Willingness to travel
