Job summary

Sine Engineering is seeking a proactive QA Engineer to ensure reliability and quality of our UAV software and embedded systems. You will design and run automated and manual tests, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement across testing processes.

You will work with engineering, product, and international colleagues in a highly collaborative environment, shaping testing methodologies and contributing to core UAV solutions with autonomy and precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Hands-on with Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and quality engineering principles.
• Experience with manual testing and its benefits.
• Experience with production automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for embedded products.
• Execute automated and manual testing to validate software functionality and performance.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution across environments.
• Identify, document, and track defects with development teams for timely fixes.
• Improve automation coverage, reliability, and execution performance.
• Create test plans, test design, and execute tests through the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and DevOps to validate quality requirements.
• Report testing results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and best practices.
