Job summary

Sine Engineering is seeking a proactive QA Engineer in Tampere to design and execute test plans, automate tests for embedded products, and drive quality improvements. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, product, and DevOps in a highly global environment.

You will contribute to CI/CD integration, test design, and defect tracking while ensuring reliability and performance of our UAV control systems. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Hands‑on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies.
• Experience testing REST APIs and service‑oriented architectures.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality engineering principles.
• Experience with manual testing and understanding its benefits and appropriate use cases.
• Experience with production automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership of assigned tasks, and grow professionally.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability and quality of our technologies. Key Responsibilities
