Job summary

Sine Engineering is seeking a proactive QA Engineer to ensure reliability and quality of our UAV software and embedded systems. You will design and run automated and manual tests, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement across testing processes.

You will work with engineering, product, and international colleagues in a highly collaborative environment, shaping testing methodologies and contributing to core UAV solutions with autonomy and precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Hands-on with Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and quality engineering principles.
• Experience with manual testing and its benefits.
• Experience with production automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability and quality of our technologies. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying defects, and driving continuous improvement in our development processes.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and international colleagues in a highly collaborative global environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for embedded products.
• Execute automated and manual testing activities to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support reliable test execution across environments.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, test reliability, and execution performance.
• Create test plans, test design, and execute tests throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and validated.
• Report testing results, quality risks, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and best practices.

What We Require

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies.
• Experience testing REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality engineering principles.
• Experience with manual testing and understanding its benefits and appropriate use cases.
• Experience with production automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership of assigned tasks, and grow professionally.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
