Job summary

Sine Engineering is seeking a QA Lead Engineer to drive quality initiatives across products and services. This role blends hands-on automation development with QA leadership, mentoring teams and shaping quality strategies for globally distributed engineering groups.

The ideal candidate will build scalable automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality releases across multiple teams and locations, coordinating with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps to ensure comprehensive test

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Proven experience serving as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or senior quality engineering contributor.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C# and similar.
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies.
• Experience testing REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality engineering principles.
• Experience with manual testing and production automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement testing strategies that increase test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded products.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution across environments.
• Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track product health and testing effectiveness.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, test reliability, and execution performance.
• Mentor team members on quality engineering best practices and automation techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams across multiple geographic locations.
• Communicate quality risks, testing progress, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
