Job summary

NVIDIA in Helsinki is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join the System Control Firmware team. You will design, implement, and secure low-level C firmware for the BPMP across the Tegra SoC lifecycle, enabling boot, power, and thermal management for autonomous vehicles, AI edge devices, data centers, and robotics.

You will work with hardware, software, and safety architecture teams across global sites, perform debug and test automation, and provide hands-on program support.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and technical leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-site collaboration.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with AI-assisted workflows to improve code/testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize low-level C firmware for the BPMP across the Tegra SoC lifecycle.
• Provide hands-on technical support to active product programs and troubleshoot high-priority issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and safety architecture teams across global sites.
• Write unit/integration tests and perform error injection on emulation platforms and boards.
