Job summary

Turck Vilant is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the R&D team in Espoo, Finland. The role focuses on designing and implementing firmware for industrial communication systems using C/C++ and hardware-level programming.

Candidates should have a technical degree and experience with embedded OS and industrial communications, plus English fluency; German language skills are an advantage. The work environment combines office presence in Espoo with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• A technical degree in computer science, telecommunications, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with hardware level programming (C/C++).
• Embedded operating systems and industrial communications experience.
• Interest and knowledge in IoT and RFID technologies.
• Systematic work methods.
• Speaking and writing fluent English.
• Business German will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development of new firmware components used in our industrial communication systems.
• Implementation as well as development of firmware components, drivers and stacks.
• Execution of product development and technology projects in strong collaboration with our product management and our technology experts.
• Creative support in product requirement work (including documentation).
• Embedded Software Development (C/C++).
• Preparation, planning and implementation of tests and test programs.
