Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor is seeking an RF and EMI Simulation Expert to lead advanced EM analyses for chip and PCB levels, using HFSS, CST, and related tools. You will collaborate with IC, package, PCB, and system teams to ensure optimal PDN performance and EMI compliance across products.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in a technical field and 5+ years in RF/microwave EM simulations, with strong knowledge of EM tools and EMI theory.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electromagnetic (EM) simulations at chip and PCB levels using industry-standard tools.
• Assess and optimize chip- and package-level PDNs for noise, integrity, and EMI compliance.
• Simulate and analyze EMI radiation to ensure designs follow international standards.
• Collaborate with IC designers, PCB layout engineers, and system architects to provide EM/EMI guidance.
• Propose and validate effective EMI/EMC mitigation solutions at layout and circuit levels.
• Prepare and document simulation results, analysis reports, and recommendations.
• Drive development of EM simulation methods, EMI/EMC standards, and EDA tools.
• Support EMI/EMC testing and correlate measurements with simulations.
