Job summary

ICEYE is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics) in Espoo, Finland to own end-to-end electronics prototype builds and coordinate with PCB/PCBA suppliers for quality and on-time delivery. The role bridges design and manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability and robust documentation.

You will collaborate with R&D, ECAD, and Supply Chain to improve prototype and NPI processes, drive supplier onboarding, and push in-house prototyping capabilities, while maintaining high standards of quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing or design.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience with PCB/PCBA supplier interface and documentation.
• Knowledge of Altium Designer and Altium 365.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end execution of electronics prototype builds (PCB and PCBA), from design release to delivery.
• Act as the primary technical interface to PCB/PCBA suppliers, resolving manufacturing, quality, and documentation issues.
• Review and validate manufacturing documentation (BOMs, assembly data, drawings) to ensure completeness and manufacturability.
• Track prototype orders, schedules, and priorities, ensuring on-time delivery across multiple concurrent builds.
• Support material readiness and component management, including availability, alternates, and issue resolution.
• Verify incoming prototypes and coordinate rework, fixes, or rebuilds when required.
• Collaborate with R&D, ECAD, and Supply Chain to improve prototype and NPI processes.
• Contribute to long-term initiatives such as supplier onboarding, process standardization, and in-house prototyping capability.
