Job summary

ICEYE, based in Espoo, Finland, is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain ML systems for Earth Observation data at scale. Relocation to Finland is required.

Qualifications

• As above: MSc/PhD or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and ML production.
• Strong Python software engineering skills and ML lifecycle knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models and services for Earth Observation.
• Develop and operationalize foundation models and large-scale learning.
• Build scalable ML pipelines for data prep, training, validation, and inference.
• Work with SAR, optical, and multi-modal data; collaborate with domain teams.
• Improve model performance, reliability, and monitoring; contribute to infrastructure.
