Job summary

Sodexo Oy in Helsinki's Munkkivuori is seeking a friendly Astiahuoltajana / kitchen helper to support our school dining team. The role focuses on dishwashing, assisting with kitchen tasks, and ensuring a welcoming service for pupils and staff.

You work 25 hours per week, Mon-Fri 06:30-15:00, with a permanent contract. Finnish basics required; English service possible. A hygiene pass is needed, and the company offers training, modern facilities, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Catering basic education or at least two years of related experience and a hygiene pass.
• Positive attitude and good team spirit.
• Finnish language basics; ability to assist customers in English if needed.

Astiahuoltajana / kitchen helper at Sodexo in a French-Finnish school in Munkkivuori, Helsinki, you are a vital support and a cheerful ambassador of good vibes. You are responsible for dishwashing and assist in other restaurant kitchen tasks. You will be a friendly co-worker who makes customers smile and makes daily life feel better. We prepare lunches and snacks for pupils and staff, and you would join a pleasant four-person team.

Your day-to-day includes:

• handling dishwashing
• assisting in other kitchen/restaurant duties
• taking care of customer service
• helping with plating and restocking on the line
• maintaining cleanliness

What we require

• catering basic education or previous experience in similar tasks for at least two years and a hygiene pass
• positive attitude and good team spirit
• Finnish language skills (Basic Finnish), and you will serve customers also in English if needed
