Oliver's Market is seeking a Deli Lead to support the Deli Manager with daily operations and profitability. The role requires full-time hours with complete weekend availability and involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance, and maintaining product quality.

You will manage customer service, inventory, and vendor orders, while preparing items per company recipes and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Physical duties include lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Food Handlers Certificate (ServSafe or ANSI compliant) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers promptly.
• Assist with Deli department daily operations and profitability.
• Supervise and develop the Deli team in absence of managers.
• Maintain inventory, pricing, and merchandizing on the floor.
• Prepare products per company recipes and standards.
• Handle catering orders and safety/compliance procedures.
• Ensure clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
• Support deliveries and vendor orders processing.
