Job summary

Veho is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join our Group-level Data & Analytics team in Aviapolis, Vantaa. You will build data pipelines, develop our data platform, and create data models and reporting solutions to make data reliable, accessible, and valuable for the business.

You will work with SQL, Python, Power BI, and Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric, delivering reliable data solutions while collaborating with engineers, analysts and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python development experience.
• Experience building data warehouses, lakehouses, or data platforms.
• Experience with Azure Synapse and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Practical Power BI skills, including semantic models, DAX, and reports.
• Understanding of data modelling and data integration principles.
• Familiarity with version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and teamwork with technical and business stakeholders.
• English fluency; Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines from multiple source systems.
• Develop and improve the data platform, including warehousing and processing.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI semantic models and reports.
• Ensure reliability and continuous improvement of data solutions.
• Deliver smaller development initiatives while contributing to larger projects.
