Job summary

Inven in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help design scalable data pipelines and infrastructure powering our AI-first product. You will work with product and ML teams to transform raw data into insights and address data quality challenges. Join a fast-moving startup with strong in-office culture and equity opportunities.

You will shape the technical direction and own end-to-end data infrastructure in a high-energy team focused on impactful AI features.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in building and scaling data infrastructure and data products.
• Strong technical skills: high proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with modern, cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS preferred, but Azure/GCP also valuable).
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Flyte, Airflow, Prefect, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes).
• Experience with data processing frameworks (Spark, Snowflake, Postgres).
• Bonus: Past work on entity resolution, unstructured-to-structured data extraction, document retrieval, ranking, or clustering.
• Fluency in English
