Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Director to lead large-scale data centre projects in Vaala, Finland. You will oversee feasibility, design, construction and completion, develop strategies, budgets and processes, and coordinate with clients, contractors and designers.

The role requires a university degree in engineering/construction, 12+ years' experience in data centres, and willingness to work on-site in Finland.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction-related field.
Minimum 12 years' work experience in construction, ideally in large-scale Data Centre projects.
Track record delivering hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completion.
Experience with master planning/estate development and capital project planning is desirable.
Demonstrable client-facing experience at all levels.
Good knowledge of construction industry and Data Centre sector themes.
Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process.
Availability for on-site work.

Mansioni

Lead and manage large-scale, complex data centre projects from feasibility through completion.
Develop and implement project strategies, plans and large budgets.
Establish and maintain effective processes and systems for the project.
Monitor and report progress and performance indicators.
Manage and mitigate risks and issues.
Prepare and deliver written project communications and reports.
Coordinate the client, contractors and designers; chair meetings and draft minutes.
Develop and deliver client pitches and update internal databases with key information.
