Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Oulu, Finland is seeking an experienced Electrical Owners Representative to join our Data Centre team on-site, overseeing pre-construction through close-out for a hyperscale data centre project for a global technology client.

The role requires lead on electrical design, procurement, construction and commissioning, proactive risk management, and close collaboration with clients, contractors and stakeholders to deliver safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (PMP/LEED a plus).
• 7+ years in electrical construction project management on data center sites.
• Experience with Owner’s Representation and direct client interaction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, construction methods, and systems integration.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, budgeting and communication skills; on-site availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical pre-construction activities, including design constructability and procurement.
• Oversee electrical construction, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high quality.
• Ensure designs align with client expectations and manage issues during construction.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, vendors, and on-site inspections.
• Act as primary client contact and manage risks related to electrical systems.
