DayOne Data Centers is building its first data center in Kouvola, Finland, and seeks a Shift Manager to lead the 24/7 operations. You will oversee the shift team, review equipment data, and ensure smooth handovers while maintaining compliance with SOPs and emergency procedures.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering or IT, 3+ years in data center operations, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Competenze

Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
+3 years of experience in data centre operations or similar O&M roles.
Familiarity with UPS, generators, chillers, and power distribution systems.
Fault diagnosis and emergency handling capabilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, English proficiency; Finnish a plus.

Mansioni

Arrange and supervise the shift team to ensure smooth operations.
Review equipment inspections and verify operational data.
Analyze on-site shift handover data and events, faults, and alarms.
Daily analysis of system interfaces (BMS, BA, high-voltage monitoring) and suggest improvements.
Train and ensure SOP and EOP compliance.
Record and analyse abnormal duty reports and incident handling; share learnings.
