Job summary

DayOne is building its flagship hyperscale data center campus in Lahti, Finland. As Shift Lead you will oversee a team of shift technicians, ensuring critical services run at the highest standards and that handovers are seamless.

The role requires working in shifts to provide 24/7 coverage, including weekends and holidays, with focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement. English proficiency is required; Finnish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Experience in data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of power, generators, UPS, cooling and fire suppression systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of shift technicians.
• Ensure 24/7 coverage and seamless handovers between shifts.
• Oversee day-to-day data center operations and incident management.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to address operational challenges.
