Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Singapore Pte. Ltd. is expanding its flagship Lahti campus and seeks a Shift Manager to lead operational teams, ensure safe, reliable facility operations, and drive continuous improvement in data center performance.

In this role you will oversee inspections, analytics of critical systems, and incident management in a fast-paced, international environment. Strong leadership and English communication are essential; Finnish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in data center operations or similar operations and maintenance environments.
• Familiarity with the maintenance and operation of UPS systems, generators, chiller units, and related infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems, including high- and low-voltage systems, UPS, cooling, and fire protection systems.
• Fault diagnosis and emergency response capabilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Organizing and supervising the work of shift teams to support safe and reliable operations.
• Equipment and Operational Review: Reviewing facility equipment inspections; Verifying operational and maintenance data; Overseeing shift handover information.
