Job summary

Destia seeks a Commercial Project Manager for a data center project in Northern Finland. You will manage cost control, forecasts, and commercial risk, ensuring financial performance throughout the lifecycle.

Collaboration with management, site teams, designers, clients and subcontractors is essential. The role combines financial oversight with contract matters and requires travel between project sites, with travel costs reimbursed per policy.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education in construction, engineering, finance or related field.
• Proven experience in cost and commercial management of large projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts and commercial risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project cost management and financial control.
• Monitor budget, costs and forecasts for the project.
• Prepare cost reporting and financial forecasts for management.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier contracts, costs and invoicing.
• Manage variations and change orders and related documentation.
• Track commercial risks and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with client and project management on commercial matters.
• Prepare and respond to potential claims and commercial demands.
• Report financial status to stakeholders and management.
• Develop commercial processes within the project organization.
