Job summary

Eaton in Finland seeks a Customer Quality Coordinator to support data analysis and meeting preparations within the Critical Power Systems EMEA Business. You will collaborate with local and global teams to ensure timely information flow, aiding root-cause analysis and continuous quality improvements.

The role requires an engineering degree and a couple of years in quality, with Finnish and English communication, plus strong IT and Jira skills. On-site location in Vantaa, Finland.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Gather and maintain Field Quality information in Jira-based platform.
• Prepare data for meetings and capture action plans (minutes).
• Liaise with Plant manufacturing for relevant information carryover.
• Coordinate between customer quality and Sales, Customer Service, Tech Support, and Sustaining teams.
• Lead retrieval coordination for EEPS/Eprom data, fail statements, and photos; handle returns.
• Coordinate Lab time and activities.
• Follow up on lab investigation due dates.
• Ensure quality engineers can start failure analysis without delay.

We are looking for a Customer Quality Coordinator to our Critical Power Systems EMEA Business. We are developing and manufacturing large UPS Systems for large datacenter and other customers. Quality of products, components and processes is critical for reliable performance of these mission-critical equipment.

You will part of the Customer Quality Team, reporting to a Customer Quality manager, working to support our customers in data analysis, meeting preparations. You will be working in fast-paced environment within the Quality Team, and collaborating closely with the EMEA country organizations, as well as Eaton internal production and R&D departments. Your main role is to support Customer Quality Engineers in their work of analysing and solving Quality problems. Your work will contribute to the continuous improvement, and making Quality a competitive advantage.

Your responsibilities include:

• Gathering & Maintaining Field Quality information in Jira-based platform
• Preparing data for meetings, and capture action plans (meeting minutes)
• Liaison with Plant manufacturing - carry over of pertinent and relevant information
• Liaison between customer quality and:- Sales, Customer Service, Tech support, Sustaining team.
• Leading the coordination and follow up for retrieval of ( EEPS/Eprom ) electronic erasable programmable memory. Initial failure mode Statements / findings, Photos. Handling returns of parts.
• Coordinating Lab time/activities.
• Following up with due dates for Lab investigations
• Measurable outcome is Quality engineer is not waiting for information to begin failure analysis.

Qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent
• Quality, preferably Customer Quality and product quality min. A couple of years experience

Skills:

• You can communicate both in Finnish and in English.
• You are confident using MS Office tools as well as other data collection and analysis tools.
• Good technical skills and IT skills, preferably Jira-based platform and quality systems.
• ERP SAP is considered as a benefit
