Job summary

AFRY’s Industry division seeks a Cost Estimator/Engineer to lead cost estimation and cost control in projects. You will set up budgets, monitor costs, forecast remaining expenses, and report on deviations while collaborating with project teams to optimize cost performance.

The role requires an Engineering degree and 2–5 years in cost estimation or control, with strong Excel skills and Finnish/English proficiency. Hybrid work from Vantaa or other Finland offices is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Process, Industry)
• 2–5 years of cost estimation/cost control in industrial projects
• Strong Excel; knowledge of cost estimation software is a plus
• Fluent Finnish and English
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Set up project budget and cost control procedures
• Track actual project costs and forecast remaining costs
