Job summary

AFRY is seeking a Cost Estimator/Engineer to join its Project Controls team in Finland. The role involves leading cost estimation, budgeting, tracking costs, forecasting, and reporting to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with project management to drive efficient cost control and continuous improvement in estimation processes. The function requires an engineering degree, 2–5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

• Inženiering degree is required in Process or Industry.
• 2–5 years in cost estimation or cost control on industrial projects.
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of additional estimation tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Finnish and English; willingness to travel.
• Excellent leadership and communication; data analytics skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Set up project budgets and cost control procedures.
• Track actual costs and forecast remaining costs.
• Communicate cost status and deviations to stakeholders.
• Support cost estimation and cost control development within the team.
