Job summary

AFRY Finland is seeking a Cost Estimator/Engineer to join the Project Controls team in a hybrid role based in Vantaa or other Finnish offices. You will lead cost estimation, build budgets, track costs and forecast remaining expenditures to support project success.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in cost estimation or cost control, an Engineering degree, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Finnish and English. Travel and relocation are required for some assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Process or Industry) required.
• 2–5 years in cost estimation or cost control on industrial projects.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of cost estimation software is a plus.
• Fluent Finnish and English; strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the cost estimation process across projects.
• Set up project budgets and cost control procedures.
• Track actual costs and forecast remaining expenditures.
• Communicate cost estimates to stakeholders and report deviations.
• Collaborate with project management to improve cost control.
