Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime Finland OY is seeking a Cost Engineer – Merchant Handling in Rauma, Finland. You will join the Sales Support team to deliver robust technical and commercial proposals for anchoring, mooring and towing solutions, collaborating with product management, delivery, supply chain and global sales.

The role emphasizes maintaining cost data, developing CPQ tools, and supporting complex costings to inform commercial and project decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and understand complex product portfolios.
Fluent spoken and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience with CPQ, ERP, and PLM tools or practical experience in information system development is considered an asset.
Strong skills within Excel are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate cost data within our costing tools, ensuring high quality and predictability.
Actively contribute to development and continuous improvement of CPQ tools.
Act as a goto support for nonstandard and complex costings, enabling informed commercial and project decisions.
Conduct deepdive analyses into project and product cost structures to identify insights, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate closely with purchasing and production organizations, engineering, sales and project teams to support business success.
