Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Fluent spoken and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with CPQ, ERP, and PLM tools or practical experience in information system development is considered an asset.
• Strong skills within Excel are considered an asset.

Cost Engineer – Merchant, Handling

An exciting opportunity awaits you as Cost Engineer in our Propulsion and Handling division at Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will be a part of the Sales Support team in Merchant Handling business, delivering support to our external and internal customers worldwide during sales projects. The core task of our team is to understand customer requirements and expectations and turn them into solid technical and commercial proposals supporting the sales of anchoring, mooring & towing solutions.

We are looking for a proactive, structured and cooperative person to support key stakeholders in smooth execution of costing processes. You will be working closely with the Product Management, Delivery organization, Supply Chain and our Global Sales to deliver technically robust solutions to our external and internal customers worldwide.

Key accountabilities

• Maintain accurate cost data within our costing tools, ensuring high quality and predictability
