Job summary

Helsinki Shipyard seeks a Design Coordinator for hull structures to join the hull design team in Helsinki. You will coordinate structural design, define technical specifications, and ensure compliance with regulations and cost targets.

The role requires strong coordination skills, excellent English, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary, international design organization. Flexible remote options and offices in Helsinki, Turku or Pori are available.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating structural design projects.
• Experience in shipbuilding or similar demanding industries.
• Excellent ability to perceive broad wholes and extract essential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hull structures design within the hull design team.
• Define technical specifications for the ship section and ensure regulatory and economic compliance.
• Act as a main contact between design groups, production, and external partners.
