Job summary

Hiab is seeking a Communications Specialist to lead our global social media strategy and content creation while guiding our broader corporate communications initiatives. Spanning external and internal touchpoints, you will own our social channels, craft compelling brand narratives, and ensure all messaging inspires our audience while aligning with Hiab’s strategic business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant communications experience.
• Proven track record managing brand social channels (B2B preferred).
• Proficiency with design/video tools and social media publishing platforms.
• Strong copywriting, basic graphic design and short-form video production.
• Experience supporting PR activities and corporate publications.

Responsibilities

• Own Hiab’s global social media strategy and content creation.
• Support internal and external communications; draft announcements and executive messaging.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Sales and other stakeholders to align campaigns with business priorities.
• Monitor KPIs, deliver dashboards, translate engagement data into insights.

Your mission

As a Communications Specialist, you will play a dynamic dual role: steering Hiab’s global social media strategy and content creation while driving our broader corporate communications initiatives. Spanning both external and internal touchpoints, you will own our social channels, craft compelling brand narratives, and ensure all messaging inspires our audience while aligning with Hiab’s strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Strategy & Management: Own, manage, and grow Hiab’s primary social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook), setting the overarching social content strategy and calendar, driving the day-to-day creation of engaging content (posts, graphics, videos) aligned with Hiab’s business objectives. Actively engage with our global community and support employee advocacy programs by enabling colleagues to share Hiab stories online.
• Corporate Communications: Support day-to-day internal and external communications by drafting internal announcements, preparing executive messaging, and assisting with PR activities. Produce multimedia content (copy, graphics, short-form video) to share Hiab’s stories and milestones, while contributing to key corporate projects such as the annual report.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, HR, Sales and other key stakeholders to ensure all digital storytelling and communication campaigns align seamlessly with wider business priorities.
• Analytics & Performance Tracking: Monitor internal and digital KPIs, deliver regular performance dashboards, and translate engagement data into actionable insights to continually refine our social media and corporate communications approach. Act as the first line of monitoring for potential online issues or reputational risk.
• Natural appetite for emerging tech: Act as a hands-on explorer for AI tools—testing practical use cases, sharing what works with colleagues, and helping the team discover smarter ways to create and communicate.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of relevant communications experience
• Proven track record managing brand social channels (preferably B2B)
• Proficiency with design/video tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop) and social media publishing platforms
• Strong hands-on skills in copywriting, basic graphic design, and short-form video production
• Solid writing and editing skills for employee announcements, executive messaging, and press materials
• Experience supporting PR activities and major corporate publications (e.g., annual reports)
• Familiarity with social media management tools, internal comms platforms, and basic performance tracking
• Strong interpersonal skills with the discretion needed to handle leadership-level and confidential information
• Fluent in English; open to occasional travel.
