Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Business Director to lead the Nordic Public & Security team, transforming clients through digital, data, and AI. You will scale our footprint in defence and national security, win new doors, and strengthen strategic relationships while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development and account management within Nordic technology and digital consulting sectors.
• Experience and existing network in defence and security sectors, with ambition to expand across the Nordic region.
• Deep insights and established network within the Finnish public sector, including procurement and tenders.
• Passion for expanding the portfolio by engaging new clients.
• Ability to manage complex sales, lead negotiations, and articulate how data, AI and digital transformation address sector challenges.
• Systematic, self-driven approach with resilience to navigate ambiguity.

Requirements

• Deep insights and an established network within the Finnish public sector, including strong understanding of procurement and public tenders.
• A genuine passion for expanding the portfolio by engaging new clients.
• Ability to manage complex sales, lead negotiations, and articulate how data, AI, and digital transformation solve sector-specific challenges.
• Systematic, self-driven approach with resilience to navigate ambiguity.
• Eligibility for a standard Finnish security clearance (Suojelupoliisin perusmuotoinen turvallisuusselvitys) which requires Finnish citizenship.
• Fluency in business English and Finnish; Swedish language is a strong plus as the Nordic footprint expands.
