Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• 2–5+ years of automation or embedded programming in manufacturing, energy, process, or similar industrial environments.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and modern control architectures is beneficial.
• Experience with ABB PLCs and Codesys Structured Text is advantageous.
• Occasional travel availability required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English and Finnish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation system architectures.
• Contribute to modularization, parameterization, and modernization of control software.
• Present and justify proposed improvements to cross-functional teams.
• Program and configure PLC and DCS systems.
• Lead system integration and commissioning, including FAT and SAT.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and functional test programs.
• Provide stakeholder support for sales and service teams.
