Job summary

Minnovation Oy seeks an Automation Control and Commissioning Manager for a 1-year project in Kotka, from 8.10.2026 to 7.10.2027. The role focuses on on-site PLC debugging, DCS data integration, and ensuring safe, optimized control systems.

The ideal candidate has PLC programming experience with Siemens/Rockwell, WinCC, and industrial fieldbus know-how, plus 3–5 years in relevant industries. On-site work in Finland with collaboration on safety assessments.

Qualifications

Proficient in Siemens or Rockwell PLC programming and WinCC configuration.
Experience with Profibus, Profinet and EtherCAT with basic network security understanding.
3–5 years in automation debugging in chemical or lithium battery materials industries.
Familiar with source code and debugging passwords for proprietary control logic.

Responsibilities

On-site debugging of PLC programs for the post-processing system.
Data integration and protocol matching between vendor control and the Finnish DCS.
Guide wiring inspection and signal testing of sensors, actuators, and electrical cabinets.
Optimize automated operation logic and adjust control algorithms for local materials in Finland.
Provide training for local operators on operation, fault diagnosis, and maintenance.
Cooperate with EU CE certification body to conduct electrical safety and functional safety assessments.
