Tolomatic, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and integrate motion control systems for integrated motor products and custom motion systems.

You’ll work across PLCs, servo drives, sensors, HMIs, and safety to deliver reliable automation solutions for industrial and defense programs. You will develop control software and libraries, review architecture, and ensure interface compatibility across subsystems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• At least two years of automation and control system experience including PLCs, servo/stepper drives, robots, HMIs and sensors.
• Experience with servo systems from major manufacturers such as Rockwell, Siemens, Elmo, Kollmorgen, and others.
• Experience with PLCs from Rockwell, Siemens, or B&R; robot controls from Fanuc, ABB, or KUKA.
• Experience developing electrical schematics and wiring; ability to debug electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of HTML/XML/CSS/JavaScript is helpful and ITAR data access must be possible.

Responsabilidades

• Support design and documentation of integrated motor products and motion systems.
• Develop controls software and motion libraries for CANopen and other protocols.
• Review system architecture and component compatibility for reliable integration.
• Execute tasks per SOWs and support subcontractors in hardware design/build.
• Develop and execute test procedures and product qualification testing.
• Create electrical schematics and assist in wiring and debugging.
• Design, build, and document control systems for automation test equipment.
• Provide customer and partner training on control system setup and troubleshooting.
