Job summary

Vivicta is seeking an experienced Application Transition Manager to lead transitions, establish new service operations, and drive AI-enabled transformation across global teams. You will ensure business continuity, operational readiness, and stakeholder satisfaction in a hybrid Nordic environment.

Ideal candidates bring deep AMS knowledge, ITIL expertise, and the ability to design scalable service delivery models while collaborating with multiple suppliers and executives.

As an Application Transition Manager you will be responsible for leading application and service transitions, establishing new service operations, and driving transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled service delivery, while ensuring business continuity, operational readiness, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Core Competencies

1. Transition & Service Setup Management
   • Proven experience leading application and managed service transitions
   • Strong knowledge of transition planning, governance, cutover, and service onboarding
   • Experience establishing new service organizations, operating models, and support processes
   • Ability to manage knowledge transfer, service acceptance, and operational readiness
   • Experience defining SLAs, KPIs, reporting, and governance structures
2. AI Transformation & Service Modernization
   • Experience identifying and implementing AI-driven service improvements
   • Understanding of GenAI, automation, AIOps, and intelligent service management concepts
   • Ability to transform traditional AMS and support services using AI and automation
   • Experience building business cases and roadmaps for AI-enabled operations
   • Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, and security considerations
3. Project & Program Management
   • Strong project and program management skills in complex IT environments
   • Experience coordinating multiple workstreams, suppliers, and stakeholders
   • Ability to drive steering committees, governance forums, and executive reporting
   • Strong risk, dependency, and change management capabilities
4. Service Management Excellence
   • Strong understanding of Application Management Services (AMS)
   • Deep knowledge of ITIL processes and service operations
   • Experience designing support models, shift-left approaches, and continuous improvement frameworks
   • Ability to establish service metrics and operational performance management
5. Stakeholder Management
   • Excellent customer-facing and executive communication skills
   • Experience working in multi-vendor ecosystems
   • Ability to lead complex negotiations and manage escalations
   • Strong workshop facilitation and business consulting capabilities
6. Leadership
   • Ability to lead global, cross-functional teams without direct authority
   • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
   • Proven track record of driving organizational change and transformation
   • Results-oriented with a structured and proactive mindset
7. Technical Understanding
   • Broad knowledge of enterprise application landscapes
   • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
   • Understanding of integrations, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture
   • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and modern DevOps practices
   • Understanding of automation platforms, AI services, and observability tooling
8. Language requirements
   • Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent certification
• ITIL certification
• Experience in public sector and regulated industries
• Experience in large-scale transition and transformation programsDemonstrated AI transformation leadership in service delivery organizations
