Job summary

Vivicta seeks an AI Architect to design and deliver production-grade AI solutions for enterprise customers. You will work across LLM applications, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and traditional ML in multi-cloud environments.

The role requires strong customer-facing skills, the ability to explain complex AI concepts, and experience with MLOps, governance, and security considerations. You will influence architecture decisions and delivery plans.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data platforms, cloud architecture or software architecture roles.
• Strong communication skills in Finnish and English for customer-facing work.
• Proven track record designing and delivering production-ready AI or data-driven systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, evaluation and AI app development.
• Experience with agentic frameworks or orchestration patterns (Pydantic AI, Vercel AI SDK, LangGraph, LangChain, etc).
• Expertise in Azure AI Foundry, AWS SageMaker or Google Vertex AI.
• Understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, monitoring, observability, and production operations.
• Ability to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders and guide teams to production.
• Experience contributing to sales, RFPs, proposals or customer workshops.

• Create reference architectures, accelerators and delivery playbooks.

We are looking for an AI Architect to help design and deliver production-grade AI solutions for enterprise customers. This is a hands-on architecture role for someone who understands both the technical depth of modern AI systems and the practical realities of deploying them securely, reliably, and at scale.

You will work across LLM applications, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, classical machine learning, cloud-native platforms, and responsible AI governance. The right candidate knows when to use generative AI, when traditional ML is the better fit, and how to design solutions that are robust, compliant, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.

This role also requires strong customer-facing skills. You should be able to explain complex AI concepts and architectures clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, contribute to RFPs and proposals, and help customers understand how AI can solve real business problems.

What you'll be working on

• Designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, classical ML, and agentic architectures.
• Building applications where AI systems can reason, plan, use tools, retrieve knowledge, and support complex business workflows.
• Shaping scalable AI architectures across platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, AWS, GCP, and multi-cloud environments.
• Establishing best practices for MLOps and LLMOps, including CI/CD, evaluation, observability, monitoring, model governance, and lifecycle management.
• Helping customers make informed platform and architecture choices based on security, compliance, data residency, scalability, and business value.
• Contributing to Vivicta's AI capabilities, including our work with secure, compliant, and sovereign AI environments.
• Embedding responsible AI principles into every solution, with attention to GDPR, the EU AI Act, enterprise security requirements, and customer-specific governance frameworks.
• Creating reusable reference architectures, technical accelerators, and delivery practices that help teams build AI solutions faster and more consistently.
• Supporting sales, pre-sales, and proposal work by translating customer needs into credible AI solution concepts, architectures, and delivery plans.
• Acting as a senior advisor to customers, delivery teams, and technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Good understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, model evaluation, monitoring, observability, and production operations.
• Ability to design end-to-end architectures, evaluate trade-offs, document decisions, and guide teams from concept to production.
• Ability to explain technical concepts, solution architectures, risks, and business value clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to sales, pre-sales, RFP responses, proposals, workshops, or customer presentations.
• Understanding of security, privacy, compliance, data residency, and responsible AI requirements in enterprise environments.
• Interest in sovereign AI, secure AI platforms, and emerging enterprise AI operating models.
