Job summary

Saab Finland Oy seeks an Antenna Engineer in Tampere to own antenna development from simulation to testing and production integration. You will design, prototype, and optimize antennas for demanding, high-reliability applications in collaboration with system design, software, hardware, and testing teams.

You will validate designs with measurements and ensure manufacturability, while contributing to the full product lifecycle and issuing bilingual technical documentation in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics with a focus on electromagnetics.
• Experience in antenna design, optimization, and measurements.
• Knowledge of production-ready designs and environmental testing.
• Ability to communicate with multiple internal teams and manage trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, prototype, and optimize antennas for high-reliability systems.
• Use CST/HFSS to optimize performance and verify with measurements.
• Collaborate with system design, software, hardware, and test teams.
• Prepare documentation in Finnish and English.
