Job summary

ICEYE Oy is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer in Espoo to build internal AI-enabled apps and help scale the internal tools platform. You will split time between delivering production-grade solutions and collaborating on platform governance, DevOps workflows, and reusable patterns.

You will work with Python/FastAPI and TS/React, design scalable integrations, and uphold security and auditability across the stack. This role offers hybrid work from Espoo with a global impact.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on software engineering, full-stack or DevOps experience with production web apps.
• Systems mindset with reusable patterns and automation over ad-hoc fixes.
• Strong governance, security, and auditability focus in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI) and/or TypeScript/React with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on Cloud & DevOps on AWS (ECS/Fargate, IAM, networking) and Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and AI-assisted tooling (Cursor, Claude Code).
• Pragmatic communicator, able to scope ambiguous problems with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship internal AI-enabled apps (~50%) using Python/FastAPI, TS/React, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate on the Internal Tools Platform, DevOps, and governance (~50%).
• Design scalable integrations with core enterprise systems (HRIS, Salesforce, Databricks, Slack, Jira).
• Own full lifecycle from prototype to production, with docs and long-term maintenance.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and platform libraries (authentication, IAM, service communication).
• Uphold governance, security by default, and auditability across the platform.
• Mentor Junior AI Solutions Engineers and contribute ADRs and templates.
